The laboratory's Water Resources Engineering and Management studies focuses on the application of modern mathematical modeling (numerical and computational) to understand the fate and transport of contaminants in the natural environment and the effectiveness of management alternatives. Our group has experience with multidimensional scales including one- two- and three-dimensional models, which simulate both steady and unsteady processes. The laboratory has additional capabilities in processing and analyzing simulation results using multidimensional visualization software, produces animations, and simplifies large datasets to manageable results that can be interpreted quickly to solve environmental problems.
